We had ordered veal goulash to pick up for Christmas. It was excellent, tender meat and very tasty sauce. Pleasant, friendly, timely service. Admission to pick up only one person at a time, with plexiglass wall and mask. Gladly again. Never had such relaxed "cooking" at Christmas.

If you want to eat good schnitzel, then this is it. I can especially recommend the schnitzel wiener art with fried potatoes, the optional braised onion sauce unfortunately made the meat a bit moist, but it was still very tasty

We loved it. A tip from friends led us to the Gasthaus zum Aartal. The beer garden is a bit hidden under trees in the green, here you can endure even in high temperatures. Delicious German cuisine, but no ready-made schnitzel junk, you can tell that the traditional way of cooking is still here and nothing is out of the bag. The desserts are a special tip.

We will definitely be back! Very nice beer garden in the green. Here you sit like in the garden and can enjoy the delicious food. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. The dessert tops off the whole visit. Perfect place when you are cycling to stop.

Here expect us always delicious Schnitzel (u.a.) and very friendly, courteous staff. In the beer garden it is very cozy in summer and beer and food taste equally good again. Kitchen and counter are always new treats come to enjoy. And the whole thing on the doorstep ... We look forward to our next visit.

I had reserved in the morning by phone with the owner for 5 people a table in the beer garden. I was promised that the beer garden was open in good weather. We arrived at 19 o'clock in nice, mild weather at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the beer garden was not open. Since we had no desire to stay in the rather unpleasant dining room, we saw ourselves forced to move on.

Delicious food, no matter if main dish or even the interesting desserts ... The card offers something for everyone, but is still not too extensive, which is a clear indication for me fresh products ... The tapers are from smaller local breweries (Hachenburger for example), which I very much welcome ... Also in the beer garden behind the inn a very pleasant atmosphere. Here not only usual beer garden dishes are offered, but the 'normal' menu of the restaurant. Dishes are (quite funny) "by cable car" from the kitchen in the beer garden "delivered" ... Very interesting for campers: Behind the inn, next to the beer garden is the parking lot of the inn. This is not visible from the main road, you have to drive around the block. The parking lot is large and is very quiet. For retirence and (of course) consumption in the inn, the one-time stay on the course is allowed! Place is very quiet, a relaxed stay is guaranteed ...

Great inn! The selection is great, the staff is super attentive and friendly, the food tastes great - my personal highlight: the desserts :) We'll be back!

High quality food that tastes delicious and visually great. Super nice and attentive team. It is always a pleasure to eat deliciously with the family Ebel in a cozy atmosphere. Reservation is recommended as the place is well attended. I'll be back and looking forward to the beer garden season.

Unscheduled, we went to the “Gasthaus Zum Aartal” in the tranquil Holzheim near Limburg an der Lahn for lunch today. From the outside it looks rather nondescript and small. When you enter the dining room, you immediately feel like you are in Grandma's living room, which is not meant negatively. The food (homemade fresh cheese spaetzle) was rich, very tasty and unbeatable at the lunch price of 6.30 euros including salad. A clear thumbs up from my side.

Very nice restaurant with a castle view. Small but very nice menu with very good dishes. The portions are large and the taste is very good. The decor is cozy and you feel comfortable. The staff is friendly. You should reserve a table in time, especially for Sunday.
